Bible Believers Fellowship

Bible Believers Fellowship was founded in February 1993 by the present pastor, Dennis Young. The first public worship service was attended by 19 people and was held in a small wooden building on the corner of Highway 90 West and Geddie Road in Tallahassee, Florida. The church continued at this location until it outgrew the facilities and moved to its present location, 6341 Blountstown Highway, in 1996.

Bible Believers Fellowship maintains that the Bible is the inerrant, total, verbal plenary, inspired Word of God and is the only "final authority of faith and lifestyle for the Christian." We believe that the Bible teaches that every person is in need of salvation and that this salvation comes by "grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone."

We believe that there is one God who has chosen to reveal Himself in three persons, commonly referred to as "the Trinity," and as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

We accept and desire the fellowship of every person that has trusted Jesus Christ as personal Savior and who desires to walk in true Biblical fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We allow the Bible to determine our conduct in the world and with other Christians.

We believe that the great mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel to every creature and every nation. In order to do that we must maintain a mission spirit and practice this belief at home and abroad by reaching our community and by supporting other missionaries to go where we cannot.

We encourage those who unite with our fellowship to be faithful to our church services, Bible reading, prayer, giving, witnessing to those who are without Christ and ministry to the Saints for the edifying of the Body of Christ for the Glory of God.

We constantly attempt to seek God's guidance in screening, training, encouraging, and helping to place those who desire to be involved in ministry in the place which the Lord would lead them to be.
